Biografía
- Founder & Event Manager at Sonne, Strand und MeerJohn Evexc was born in Germany in 1981. Already in his late childhood John was an enthusiastic listener of electronic music. His passion for electronic music started in 2001 with a friend and today's DJ colleague. In the beginning it was the hard, monotonous techno sound he loved, later the love for melodic techno came more and more. Releases by artists like Stephan Bodzin, Nathan Fake, Extrawelt, James Holden, Booka Shade, etc. have strongly influenced his sound. After several series of events under different pseudonyms, John decided to move to the Canary Islands in 2007. Inspired by the island, he founded his project Sonne Strand und Meer in 2015 to give more attention to the music he loves and lives. In 2014, John received his first invitation to the Stroga Festival, organized by friends in his home country. In recent years he has been a regular participant and has had the honor of sharing the stage with international artists like Thomas Schumacher, Joachim Pastor and Kiko. Since 2022, in collaboration with friends and other collectives from around the world, he organizes the first events around the Canary Islands.
