Biografía

  • Hip-hop/dubstep via NYC
New York producer Jonah Freed is an emerging name in the new wave of American bass music. Driven by moody dubstep basslines and romanticized by dusty soundtrack samples, his productions see support from UK heavyweights such as Vivek, Quest, Commodo and Ishan Sound, as well as stateside peers Oxóssi, Mesck and Malleus. His tunes create a cinematic bridge between dubstep and hip-hop, offering unique vocal opportunities in his collaborations with Rider Shafique and radio features from MCs such as Jammz & Trim. In addition to his work in the studio, he has performed internationally at events such as reconstrvct, Young Echo, Sub.Mission and The Mine. Having teamed up with Quest’s new label Innerverse for the release of Dream Sequence, a deadly collaboration with Samba and one of the most sought after tracks of 2016, 2017 is setting up the perfect spotlight for Jonah Freed to showcase his distinctive style of bass music.
