- Deftly blending field recordings, old vinyl and synth work and emerging from idiosyncratic collections and his love of patterns and repetition, Krisp is a stickler for a good melody and draws inspiration from nature & isolation, field recording & AI.Producer and musician Jonathan Krisp merges the acoustic, digital & antiquated, creating a unique sound of pattern making and repetition. Evocative of dreams, his 2019 album Rewilding is both reflective and other worldly, but also rooted to the dance floor. This album finds a place between the structures of metropolis, wilderness, whilst hinting at deeper rituals from a bygone era when humankind was more closely in touch with nature. Jonathan has a new album due in 2023 which captures some of his most forward thinking and accomplished music to date. He will be playing excerpts from this in a series of upcoming live shows̸Tangible Gain.
