- Put simply, I love vinyl and playing House and Techno.Originally from the Highlands of Scotland, I relocated down south & have been living in Bristol for over 20 years - a city I now call home. I have been collecting house & techno records for over 25 years and am very much a vinyl DJ. For me quality track selection and programming are the most important aspects of DJ'ing - incorporating silky smooth mixes, building momentum whilst subtlety using EQ’s & effects to give the music dynamics. I'm not keen on house DJ's who try to impress with overly flashy tricks and elaborate overuse of effects, unnecessarily complicating the music. The quality of the music and production should be allowed to speak for itself. I love quality house & techno from across the spectrum, something that is reflected within my vinyl collection. When I DJ the main emphasis is to keep it deep, but keep it interesting with plenty of bite. I like to play everything from warm and melodic deep house to stripped back glitchy minimal, dub-techno through to pulsating techno - joining the dots between so that the musical variations logically interconnect and don't sound disjointed. I am resident DJ & one of the founding members of the Bristol based Mi Casa Su Casa Crew. Our aim is to put on bespoke, intimate parties where there is a real sense of community & belonging. To date I have played alongside international talent such as Dave DK, Steve O’Sullivan, Christopher Rau, Oliver Deutschmann, Shinedo, Roberto, Roman Lindau, Locked Groove, Johanna Knutsson & Eli Verveine
