They reached the U.K.-Top 30 Singlecharts and were even breaking into Top 50 chart territory in Germany, Belgium and Spain. He is a member of the Robert Johnson-Club in Offenbach since the beginning in 1999. This Place played a very important role, as an extended studio, living room, party place and test laboratory for new productions. 1999 he was considerably involved, in the licensing of the New York house classics „Lovelee Dae“ and "Funky People" from New York house legends Blaze, wich established Playhouse as an international brand. While his nearly fifteen years activity at Ongaku / Klang / Playhouse, he worked with artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Isolee', Lo Soul, Daniel Bell and Jan Jelinek. 2002 Wuttke curated and edited the tracks for Ricardo Villalobos trendsetting first album „Alcachofa“. Avantgarde-pop, electronic-glitchsounds and seventies krautrock was mixed at the project „Sensorama“, on Hamburg based label „Ladomat“. The four albums under that moniker, the brilliant artwork and the „garagedoor video“ regarding the single „Starescalator“, made by Michel Klöfkorn and Oliver Husain, created worldwide attention. Groove Magazine, named „Starescalator“, as one of the most influental videos of electronic music and Sensorama was winning a German Music Video Award as best video in 1999. 2001 and 2003 he co-produced the two Sven Väth albums „Contact“ and „Fire“. The longterm collaboration with Väth started, during Wuttkes work as recordselecter and salesman, at the legendary „Delirium“ recordshop in Frankfurt, during the mid nineties. There, he decided to give Väth a cassette tape, wich leaded to the first two Alter Ego records on Svens „Harthouse“ imprint. With Väth following tours, remixes and many joint appearances, over almost twenty years. From the first gig in Frankfurts club „The Omen“ 1993, up to regular performances at his „Cocoon“ partys at the „Amnesia“ in Ibiza, or on his extensive world tours. 2011 sees Wuttke and Flügel founding their own label „Alter Ego Recordings“, to regain their complete back catalog in collaboration with Word&Sound distribution. Many titles were spreaded at various labels, only available on vinyl or completely out of stock. Since then every track can be found also as a digital release on Beatport and other high quality download stores. 2018 Alter Ego Recordings released the Acid Jesus tripple vinyl/double-cd compilation "Flashbacks 1992 -1999" and several other new curated 12' vinyl singles. 2018 he started his new "Klangfabrik" mastering, arrangement and production studio in Frankfurt.
