- JV represents a unique breed of dance music producer -- one that intelligently fuses together elements of House and Techno to not only move dance floors, but also provoke the imagination. With twenty record releases under his belt, JV's "deep-yet-dance..Exploring and experimenting in the studio since the late 90's, JV launched his career in 2002 with the release of "Into the Blue" on NYC-based Fade Records. Since then, JV has gone on to release records with a reputable list of labels such as Sensei Records, Dorigen Music, Cove Recordings, Groove Pleasure, So Sound Recordings, Tangent Beats, and Sugarcane Recordings among others. While a music maker at heart, JV also has a passion for hearing conservation. In 2012, JV founded Frequency Effect, a charity organization with three core goals: educate the music community on how to protect their hearing, support a cure for hearing loss through fundraising events, and share a love for deep electronic music with the world. Recent successes of the charity include a Red Bull Music Academy sponsored tour through the US which featured double and triple headliners at each event and generated over $10k for research.
