Traveling through many different music styles he found himself happiest in varied deep and minimal House tunes. In 2006, after already having promoted several parties, he started his weekly Wednesday night party, at the Mascotte Club. Today it is one of the best electro evenings in Switzerland, booking huge international acts and the best of the national electro scene. After many sets, Kapara also started to produce his own music in 2007. Being influenced by and getting to know local acts like “Mountain People” or the “Drumpoet Community” led to him meeting “Amir” at an international gig. Impressed by the warm, groovy and still technoid House-sound, their friendship quickly developed while working together, which also elevated and improved his status as a producer, to the next stage. Kapara’s first release, coming out on October 08, is called “Mimicry Complex” produced under the label “Suchtreflex”, owned by Piemont, friends of Kaparas and also one of Germanys best techno acts. Other Releases will be following soon. Kapara is a resident in Zürichs biggest Clubs such as the Q Club and Kaufleuten and also plays in Europe and the US, inspiring people with his music selection the same way he inspires himself.
