- Originally from Toulouse & member of the Egregore collectiveGreat wizard of the MPC2000XL, Kaval is the « King of Drums ». Originally from Toulouse, he makes this mythical sampler sequencer, released in 1999, smoke, with productions with percussive potential, capable of knocking down the hardest of reinforced concrete walls. Member of the Egregore collective, Kaval is one of the activists of the current Toulouse bass scene and of the French hard drum scene in particular. For the last few years, the Kaval machine has been running at full speed: plenty of releases, a guest mix for UK legend Marcus Nasty on Rinse FM, his "Lost Drums Show" residency on Egregore, tracks playlisted by Pearson Sound, Peverelist, Skream or DJ Python. In these sets he explores percussive styles and strives to offer "blends" that are as surprising as they are euphoric.
