- With a reputation for rambunctious DJ sets and an impressive slew of sampladelic releases, Kayroy artfully blends varied influences to deliver sets that are dynamic and exciting, venturing deep into the depths of the Cyborg Disco.After one night in Prague changed the course of his life, Finnian Langham returned to his hometown of Melbourne with a hunger to master the art of making people move. He quickly developed a reputation for his rambunctious DJ sets, adventuring deep into the depths of the Cyborg Disco. A slew of acclaimed releases followed on both local and international labels including Sour Edits, Whisky Disco, Clipp.art and Hotfoot, showcasing his unique sampladelic production style, and cementing him as a mainstay of Melbourne’s dance-music community. He is also a contributor and curator at Boots & Legs, an Italo-inspired label he runs with regular collaborator GREETINGS. Over time, his sound has broadened, and now you might catch him spinning anything from obscure 80’s synthpop to acid-tinged EBM and the odd bit of techno. Never one to be pinned down, Kayroy artfully blends these varied influences to deliver sets that are dynamic and exciting, heightened by his captivating stage presence.
