- "Huge track selection, groovy under tones, organic sounds and technical creativity" Groove Boutique MagazineBorn to Portuguese-English parents in south London, Kevin began DJ'ing at an early age notably within the London student party scene, playing at warehouses, universities and clubs including Ministry of Sound aged 17. Dragging huge cases of vinyl wherever he played, Kevin's early musical influences where drum n bass, hip-hop and urban, combining these styles in technical turntable performances. Kevin then took a break from the music. A decade later, and refocused, Kevin went to Ibiza in search of the sound he was craving for. He found it; it was house music. In 2011, Kevin co-founded Enkrypted Beatz Recordings, a small independent digital label - a project with a group of artists, and remixers, and which gave him his first real insight into music composition and studio life. In 2012 Kevin turned his attention back to DJ'ing. Starting with a residency at Supernova LDN, a huge monthly party at Egg Night Club in London, Kevin has played alongside established artists such as Kaiserdisco, Danny Tenaglia, Marco Bailey, Andrea Oliva, Mark Farina, Uner, Karotte, DJ 2001, Technasia, Marc Romboy, Edwin Oosterwal, Joris Voorn, Pirupa, Dani Casarano, Joel Mull, Stefano Noferini, Hobo, Julian Perez, Francisco Allendes, and Sharam as well as others. Kevin also played his 1st international booking at Groovefest 2012, Puerto Plata, DR. After a good opening year behind the decks, Kevin's talents didn't go unnoticed and in 2013 he was added to FACT's artist line up playing alongside Kevin Saunderson, Audiofly, Timo Maas, Satoshi Tomiie, Reset Robot, Guy J, Umek, Uto Karem, and Filterheadz. Kevin also played alongside Yousef and the legendary Laurent Garnier at the highly acclaimed Circus night. Kevin capped off 2013 as a highly productive year by completing his sound engineering studies at Point Blank. This year also sees Kevin return for a third year at Groovefest 2015 Music Festival in the paradise location of Puerto Plato, in Dominican Republic, where he is set to open for Defected for their Defected in the House showcase. Currently Kevin is in the process of relocating to Ibiza and excited about the next chapter.
