  • Klaxons are a London band part of the much ballyhooed nu-rave movement.
    The four Klaxons members are originally from Bournemouth and Stratford-upon-Avon. Klaxons are a London band part of the much ballyhooed nu-rave movement. Their debut single ‘Gravity’s Rainbow’ arrived on Angular Records in April, 2006, though only 500 copies were released on 7" vinyl (the band decorated the sleeve themselves). Second single ‘Atlantis To Interzone’ led to wider coverage in the music press and a deal with major label Polydor Records. The Polydor single ‘Magick’ climbed to #29 in the UK top 40. Currently, the Klaxons are prepping their debut album ‘Myths of the Near Future’, which is set for release on January 29th 2007. The album is produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco. Klaxons are also set to headline the NME indie rave tour starting in February 2007.
