- Kovyazin DHaving an impressively large amount of performances on iconic stages and at famous festivals, Kovyazin D has managed to become one of the most recognizable electronic musicians and djs of Russia. He is a current resident of System 108 community and is mostly well-known for his releases on M>O>S, Craigie Knowes, Eidetic (Brokntoys) and so on. The culture of deejaying and especially deep passion for electronic music were the reasons to debut with in early 2000s. Then having bought the first vinyl records and later – the first vinyl turntables triggered the critical need to rabidly hone the skill of mixing in addition to endless music digging.The style of “standard” mixing has never extremely drawn one’s attention. It got boring promptly, so in pursuit of something new grew the interest to such an art as turntablism, to extraordinary “dj tools” vinyl records as well as to records with locked grooves and acapellas. That’s what has formed the flawless and unique playing manner. The next step was the purchase of the first own synthesizers and drum-machines. Infinite sound experiments were followed by recognition and musical mindfulness. Both in his tracks and live performances Dmitry balances between the different periods of 'synth' music, artfully mixing the warm sound of analog instruments with the cold melodies and noises, operating with the combination of Acid House, Italo Disco, New-Beat, EBM, Electro.
