Biografía
- Kreative Nativez is a duo of Producers / Djs from Lusaka in Zambia, comprising childhood friends Dj Blocks (John Mutale Nshimbi) and Tryybo (Jacob Kapaka Sinyangwe).Joined their talent in the beginning of 2017 and have since made a bomb out of it. With a love for House Music but mostly influenced by Afrohouse, Afrotech, Deep House as well as Retro Soulful house music, the duo has embraced their feel good electronic music sound that makes most people groove and move their feet. Influenced by the likes of Atjazz, Manoo and Black Coffee to name a few. In the short lifespan of their careers as producer / deejay’s Kreative Nativez have befriended, learnt from, evolved and played alongside some of Zambia's established Dj’s and some of House Music's biggest acts in Djing. Came on the scene with their own flair & vibe, unique original tracks & distinctive bootleg remixes which made the performances stand out. In 2017, they performed their first ever event at the Castle Lite Unlocks Black Motion as an opening act. In June of the same year they were on the lineup for the R&G Winter Warmer, where they dropped their breakout bootleg hit Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone Kreative Nativez Remix, a remix and tribute of the 1976 Motown cult classic by The Temptations. The song caught the attention of veteran South African producer/Dj Dj Cleo, who heard the song and asked the Kreative Nativez to send it to him, after which he uploaded a video of him playing it in the club and as they say the rest is history. Following the cosign, Dj Cleo went on to feature the Kreative Nativez on a track titled Native Get Down and featured Damans on vocals, his album Eskhaleni 11 which came out in October 2017. After much patience and nurturing, Kreative Nativez felt that they had reached a certain level of maturity in their music production and it was time for the masses to hear their interpretation of House music. The Nativez are currently independent and continue to release and distribute music on various international labels such as Deep Root Records, Open Bar Music, Xpressed Records, Madorasindahouse Records, SP Recordings, Sneja Recordings, Arawakan, Obenmusik, Melomania, Perditio Inc, Union Records, Mr. Afro Deep, IRMA DANCEFLOOR, Clubstream Pink and more. The Nativez Sound has a distinct feel to it, the structure of the tracks driven by percussion and melodies that pierce the listener right to the core. The arpeggio played on electric piano is usually the synthesis of their compositions on which they build other elements including distinct bass lines. It is evident that the Kreative Nativez have mastered their craft and are etching the name as maestros of their sound. They’ve performed at various festivals & Events such as the R&G Oktoberfest, ZamFest, Beerville, Safari Picnic, Rugby Sevens etc... And they are constantly making appearances in clubs all over Zambia. They have shared the stage with artists like Black Motion, Shimza, Dj Maphorisa, Prince Kaybee and Mi Casa to name a few.
