- Short legs & fat bangers.A formidable force on the electronic underground, lau.ra has established herself as a dynamic, vibrant and versatile artist. Composing dance floor stompers that utilise her exceptional production skills, she is an award-winning producer, with millions of streams, widespread radio play, plus a gold-certified record under her belt. In 2022, she became the first woman to win the Music Producer’s Guild award for 'Self Producing Artist'. A feat previously won by Four Tet and Jon Hopkins. lau.ra was the first DJ in 2023 to be on Sarah Story’s Peak Time Mix. Which was then topped off the only way it could be by being Pete Tong’s Essential Mix on Radio 1 in March. Followed up big Hottest Record with her collaboration with Monki in June. Now working on an EP with DFTD and wrapping up some big plans for 2024. As a DJ she keeps it energetic and upbeat, playing at Circoloco’s NYD party at DC-10 in Ibiza, Amnesia, Radio 1 Big Weekend and many more. She has appeared on Radio 1, 6music and Rinse, with support from a range of tastemakers: Jaguar, Danny Howard, Nemone, Annie Mac, Jack Saunders, Jess Iszatt, Jeremiah Asiamah and Lauren Laverne among them.
