- Berlin based, founder of A7A and resident of LUSHLawrence Lee conjures a singular style and technique, forging an unapologetic sound that draws on a tapestry of influences, from midwest techno to IDM and bass. Hailing from New York with Korean/Brazilian roots, Lawrence relocated to Berlin and quickly carved a space for himself, founding his intrepid A7A imprint and LUSH club night. His label A7A releases cutting-edge electronic music spanning across techno, electro, and bass and also currently hosts a residency on Refuge Worldwide and Rinse France. Lawrence's nascent club night LUSH, in collaboration with Monika Martinez, flourished into a Friday night staple at Berghain's Panorama Bar. Lawrence is also a resident at .TAG, known of its marathon events and regarded as a central institution for club culture in Asia for 10 years. As a producer, he has delivered breakout releases on esteemed labels including UMAY, Radiant Records, New York-based E-Missions, International Chrome, Mala Junta × Amniote Editions, and his very own, A7A.
