- DJ, Moonlighting Resident, Worldwide FMLeanne first moved to London from Canada in the 90s - a golden era of the U.K. underground. Years spent creating visual identities with Robi Walters for people like Gilles Peterson, Benji B (Deviation), Blacktronica, Coop/People/Bugz in the Attic etc (some of the most influential sessions at the time) put her at the beating heart of the rich London scene. Working with Patrick Forge on his Kiss FM radio show and behind the counter at Honest Jon’s in the late 90s/early 00s helped to cultivate her broad appreciation and rich musical heritage Drawing on this unique history, she always faces forward and has a finger firmly on the pulse of new sounds and scenes. This heritage when woven together with her intuitive nature, make for deep-feeling & beautifully fluid sets - drawing from the heart and a profound awareness of the atmosphere of the moment. Co-founder and resident of MOONLIGHTING alongside NTS favourites Zakia and Marshmello - it's a night which revels in the magic of lunar shadows and occasionally shares the energy of other like-minded sound shapers (Josey Rebelle, Ruby Savage, Lakuti, Tama Sumo...). She was a part of Worldwide FM since the very beginning and has also produced audio documentaries like Basquiat: The Gold Griot and Charles Stepney: Black Gold of the Sun. Her regular The Emerald Tablet show on Worldwide FM included guests such as Cleo Sol, Karizma, Marc Mac, Mad Professor, Equiknoxx, Amp Fiddler and DJ Sotofett.
