- passion for dance music started 2004 when he was inspired by big name producers who would regularly play at the local clubs, such as, mark knight,Sebastian Léger, Popof, Oxia, D.Ramirez, Dubfire.Real name / Michael Ball Leeks has been noted for his style in music what is described as "Cool techno/tech house" with a good eliment of old school House. his music has always reached all types of people, Leeks makes and plays music that gives people chance to hear something new. His special sound has also been called upon by many record labels, who singled him out for the unique sound he has been producing... this kind of production does not happen overnight, Born in a city town in Merseyside, Leeks was exposed to house music when he was just leaving school and it was in the collage studying music production that his talent for playing the drums was developed. His first taser to techno/ tech house music was at Manchester's Sankeys His first gig (2005) at Djing was when a DJ in a local bar needed someone to cover, Leeks had this chance to test out some new music he had been working on in collage and had about 6 CDs and just hoped for the best". After his djing became more well estableshed, Leeks first big break came when he was offered a residency at St helens legendary club Nexus. When all the other DJ's were playing funky house Leeks style was much more uplifting, cool and new... Since then of course, Leeks has gone from strength to strength DJing around the world from Japan to Lisbon,Leeks continued to provide the launchpad for dance music into Japan and beyond. Leeks, djing/music is his main intrest, and what gives him a kick is being able to play his music to others...̸lots!!
