Biografía
- From a young age, Lefthook has invested in creating his own identity through music.His enthusiasm for hip-hop/electronic rhythms led him to explore and discover different music production platforms, drum machines, and synths and experiment with the possibilities of sound as a means of self-expression. Lefthook has an inherently high musical IQ that is fully apparent in his style of production. Over the years, with the addition of a formal education in Sound Engineering and an increasingly sophisticated taste for innovative tools and techniques, the young DJ and Music Producer has chiseled a forward-thinking sound that speaks for his unique persona. His soul-infused, stripped back, timeless rhythms have found their way to international musical homes such as Fake Recordings, Honne Music, and What Now Becomes (Sleep Is Commercial Sub-Label) out of Berlin, Germany. The process of collaborating with likeminded individuals inside and outside his musical realm is key to Lefthook's vision and propels his aesthetic journey. He is a core artist for Vuew Recordings and part of the chemistry of the Southern Californian vinyl-only project Muted Noise, founded by house music notable Halo Varga. Alongside his own growing list of productions, Lefthook has a body of collaborative work with music producers Ra.Mod, Paulo, Hipp-E, and Jesusdapnk as well as a growing list of remixes in his authentic catalogue.
