- GloVibes aka HandZoff [Los Angeles]Born in Naples and now based in Los Angeles, GloVibes aka Leonardo Abbate has spent several years in London spinning at prestigious clubs & residencies including Ministry of Sound, The Egg, Fabric, and Heaven. GloVibes currently has several residencies at some of LA’s best clubs including the internationally acclaimed A Club Called Rhonda, Avalon Hollywood, The Standard Rooftop and promotes and spins at his Bonanza Records label party ....ISH. Between his original productions and remixes, GloVibes is having sweet success on the Billboard Charts. In March 2016, his collaboration with Luciana “One By One”, reached #5 on the Billboard Club Songs Chart. Almost a year later, his new release, Watch Out, a collaboration with Gary Caos of Casa Rossa, reached the #7 position. GloVibes has remixed some of pop music’s biggest artists like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Pet Shop Boys, Dave Aude & Olivia Newton-John, all reaching #1 on the coveted chart. You can also find him on the remix duties for Paris Hilton & Mel B both reaching top 5. In 2016, GloVibes and his friend Federico Scavo made a big splash with their remix of Docka Ft. Snoop Dogg – Let Me Hit. The remix reached top 30 on Beatport and appeared on many other charts including Snoop’s Beatport Artist chart in the #2 position. In late 2015, GloVibes teamed up with Nico De Ceglia and Severino Panzetta to introduce the underground dance label Bonanza Records. Bonanza is Leonardo’s outlet to share his extraordinary A/R skills as well as featuring the underground sound of his alter ego, HandZoff. The label features many of his own standout productions throughout the years including “Babe Babe Babe”, “Cod Liver Oil”, “Move On”, “Cha”, “Freaking Out”, and “Electrica Salsa.” Bonanza also features releases by Peter Brown, DJ PP, Alkalino, Tom Sawyer, Mongochips and most recently house music legend Terry Farley. Terry’s single “Die 4 U” has been the most successful release to date. The label’s latest release, Shake Ur Bumpa, is a collaboration of Cristian Poow & GloVibes and is being supported by Marco Carola, Vanilla Ace, Oliver Heldens to name a few as a well as holding the #1 spot simultaneously at digital retailers Track It Down & DJ Tunes. Throughout the years, Leonardo’s taste and knowledge for music has caught the attention of many celebrities & A-list clientele.
