Biografía

  • Focus is passé.
In the modern world we want to feel everything all the time. There is no point in just taking a walk in the park when we can also listen to headphones, munch on a hot dog, crank up our vibrating soles to the maximum, and check out the passing carnival of humanity. Our choices shout the creed of a new world order: Stimulation. Thought and creativity have become subservient to the singular goal of saturating our senses. Ever thought about being oldschol? If you are not prepared to focus on the basics of valuable nightlife - music, conversation, hijacking each others mind, the ecstatic entwining of souls - then get out of our faces and go back to your 500 channels of surround-sound life. Touché, both german based DJs and producers Lifekiss&Hoover have completely devoted themselves to entrance the audiences through their musical performances, fuelled by in-depth knowledge and infinite passion for music of every shape. Within an era of well-esteemed events, Lifekiss&Hoover plotted their musical basement story from dusk till dawn. Subsequently, they began playing in clubs in Germany's cole mining centre of earlier days, the Ruhrgebiet, and landed much-vaunted residencies like the highly reputable Housemusic institution "Art of House" in Cologne, where they have not only found their key musical partnership to the Incroyable Music imprint, but also settled down to a circuit of much respected artists, fusing the analogue sounds of beloved machines and modern possibilities. In the studio they have collaborated with dance luminarie Pascal Dior, releasing their debut single "Fiesta" on Sabb's label SK Supreme Records, and even more honorable having their first three tracker EP on Rough Recordings including their number #1 "Kissin' Me" on Traxsource in 2014. As part of the Incroyable crew, they single handedly delivered the piano anthem "To The Sky" for the label Kick Off Compilation. The consecutive high quality production series has put them on the radar of New York's legendary King Street Sounds to release their next single "Can You Feel It". In 2015, more vital than ever, utterly professional, utterly unpredictable, Lifekiss&Hoover focus on their self imposed exile for studio work, to sharpen their sonic identity. At least, that is what has been told to us. CONTACT [email protected]
