- LMR (pronounced “Elmer”) has seen electronic music change and evolve. From making hip-hop beats on his Commodore to watching the industry switch from vinyl to CD, change has been the constant in LMR’s accomplished DJ path. Now, freshly leading New York..LMR (A.D.G.) – LMR (pronounced "Elmer") is a Dutch DJ and producer who started making hip-hop beats on his Commodore computer back in 1989. Inspired by the influential music scene of Amsterdam and the rest of Europe, LMR picked up his first set of turntables at the point when technology was transitioning from Vinyl to CD. Fast forward 10 years to LMR's relocation to NYC as a missionary who aims to bring Europe's House Music Explosion back to America. While his earliest influences included Prodigy and his hometown hero, Eric E, today you'll find him spinning anything from Techno and Tech-House to Minimal and Deep-House--all depending on the flavor of the week.
