Inspired by Ibiza culture, a love of drum and bass progressed towards trance, where Lokaäi eventually became driven by bassline and minimalism, encompassed by all things house music, and visiting underground events across London and enjoying everything at crowd level. Lokaäi returned to DJing in the noughties, harnessing a trademark bassy tech style, and holding an emphatic hunger for playing underground music to the people who want to hear it. Both a versatile and inspired DJ from today’s trends, Lokaäi plays at bars, clubs and festivals across London, Hertfordshire, Essex, and Ibiza, Lightbox, Cargo and Egg being amongst favourites, and also hosting a weekly radio show on HouseNationUK Radio.
