- Paul Barry Aka Paolo Bernacchia Was Born In 1972 In Porto San Giorgio, A Little City In The Centre Of The Italian Adriatic Coast. Since He Was Eight Years Old, His Father Also A Musician Taught Him To Play Piano. Because His Father Had Many Synthesizer..Paul Barry aka Paolo Bernacchia was born In 1972 In Porto San Giorgio, Italy. At the tender age of eight his father taught him to play the piano as Paolo fell in love with many of his fathers’ Synthesizers. He just loved synthetic sounds and soon started to design his own patches. In 1986 he founded a dark rock band called ‘Sextons’ where he was the keyboard player. As the 80s drew to a close and House music rapidly gain popularity Paolo aka Paul Barry at the time teamed up with Dj MBG who taught him the art of djaying. In 1991 they both became resident Djs at the Champagne Club in Cattolica (Rimini). The same year he got also involved in his first house music production and had in 1992 his first track ‘The Gates of Heaven’ released on Flying Records. This got him a resindency at Rock O’Ko In Cattolica, (Rimini) for the following winter season. Between 1992 and 1998 Lord of Crows disappeared from the house music scene and turned his attention towards band projects such as ‘Domus’, ‘Inseminators’, ‘Alta Pressione Acid Jazz’ and many other collaborations. In 2000 Lord of Crows returned to the electronic dance music scene playing live techno sets all over Italy with Dj Pech, Ronny Dj and Breviglieri DJ. They played live keyboards and incorporate samplers and sequencers in their performances. Here are just a few clubs they performed: ‘Cenerentola’ (Modena), ‘Mamamia’ (Senigallia), ‘Flexus Hi Club’ (Porto San Giorgio), ‘Galeone’ (Passetto D’Ancona), ‘Spirity’ (Carpi) and ‘BB Disco Dinner’ (Cupra Marittima). In 2003 Paolo moved to London and collaborated with Femy B DJ and Cosmo DJ. He started to play with his Lord of Crows alias at many prestigious venues like Nama Bar and 93 Feet East. In 2005 he finished his sound engineering and music technology studies and qualified as a Sound Engineer. On his 2006 visited to Chicago he was lucky to Dj at the famous House of Blues. Between 2007 And 2008 Paolo joined Kinetic Groove a British record label created by Lord of Crows, Stefan Cordery and Ben Hoo. They played at many venues including Kensington Bar and Kitchen where the Label launch party took place. They also performed at Cosmo Bar, Factory, Russian Bar and 93 Feet East. In September of 2009 he met David Berger with whom he played at London’s Recreation and Made in Brasil.
