- Philadelphia based selector and producer specializing in party-rocking mixes and club focused production.Love City started out as a Vinyl-toting hip-hop dj thru the late 90's and early 2000's. The technological revolution brought on by Serato led to further diversification and the opportunity to more easily create custom DJ edits and play original productions. By 2009, LCD found himself in the midst of a surge in the popularity of dance music in the US. Because of his tasteful sensibilities and diverse abilities, he became the go-to Philly local opener for many of the major venues. His turntable skills applied to dance music helped him stand out in a sea of upstart wannabes. LCD was direct support for Avicii at the Liacourus Center, Diplo at Soundgarden Hall, A-Trak at the Roots Picnic Afterparty, Boys Noize at the TLA, DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist at the TLA, Questlove at the Hacienda, Crystal Method at the Note, Skream at the TLA and Baltimore Soundstage, Grandmaster Flash at Coda and appearance with Alex Metric, Bixel Boys, Oliver, Dillon Francis, GTA, Lunice, Hucci, Nightmares on Wax, Pendulum, Switch, Nadastrom, Munchi, Crookers, Nick Catchdubs, Cosmic Gate, Lazy Rich, Valentino Khan and dozens more. He also held residencies and the top nightclubs in the city at various times. Silk City, Rumor, Lit Ultrabar, Raven Lounge, Coda, Saint Lazarus Bar and more. As a producer, his edits and bootlegs have been passed around by DJs around the globe and has released music with the notorious Crooklyn Clan and Brooklyn based label, Gold Whistle, as well as original productions featuring the likes of DJ Sega and Architekt.
