- TECHNODE: Lucas Tesoin ist ein Träumer. Sein halbes Leben ist er schon untrennbar mit der Musik verbunden, sei es das jahrelange Klavierspielen oder die kreative Zusammenarbeit in diversen Bands. Doch das war dem jungen Berliner irgendwann nicht mehr genug, ein Klavier hat nunmal nur 88 Tasten, eine Gitarre nur sechs Saiten. Um die natürlichen Limitationen der klassischen Musik zu überwinden startete er 2011 zusammen mit einem Freund das elektronische Projekt Schneider&Tesoin. Doch er musste bald feststellen, dass nicht nur die Technik Grenzen für seine musikalische Selbstverwirklichung aufwies, sondern auch die direkte Zusammenarbeit mit anderen zwangsläufig zu Kompromissen führt. Und diese Kompromisse konnte und wollte Lucas nicht eingehen, um ein akustisches Ebenbild seiner Vision zu verwirklichen. 2014 war es dann endlich soweit, das Solo-Projekt Lucas Tesoin war geboren, Lucas machte endlich die Musik, mit der er sich voll und ganz identifizieren konnte, Pausen gab es hingegen für den für seinen treibenden Sound schon ziemlich bekannten DJ und Produzenten immer seltener. Musikalisch muss man feststellen, dass Lucas' eigentliche Passion harter, schneller, mit durchgehenden Hi-Hats versehener Techno ist, er aber dennoch, ganz der Musik verschrieben, unerwartet weiche und melodische House-Sounds produzieren kann. Das Jahr 2016 stellte dann ein ganz besonderes Jahr für den aufstrebenden Künster dar, seine erste Veröffentlichung auf Zoned Recordings wurde Anfang des Jahres realisiert, er trat dem Label Suspekt Records bei und er veröffentlichte zum Ende des Jahres gleich noch auf DIS Music. Auch seine Gigs beim MIT DIR Festival 2016, in der Roten Sonne, beim Draußen ist's Schöner Open Air oder beim Zug der Liebe sind persönliche, wie auch karriere-technische Highlights. ENG: Lucas Tesoin is dreamer. For half of his life, he is inseparably connected to music, considering the years of playing the piano or him being part of several bands. But that was not enough for the young berlin musician, a piano got only 88 keys, a guitar just got six strings. To overcome the natural limitations of classical music, he and a friend of him started the electronic project Schneider&Tesoin in 2011. But at some point he must have realized that being a part of a collective also means that you have to make compromises. For his own idividual fulfilment and to create music after his very own vision the DJ and producer was not able to do so and in 2014 he finally started the solo project Lucas Tesoin. From that point on, Lucas was free to make music which he could totally identify with, but because of the reputation he fastly gained with his very unique sound, there was suddenly no time for breaks and relaxation anymore. Musically, Lucas' infamous signiture sound is made of very hard and fast techno with constant hi-hats but on the other hand, he unexpectedly produces very soft and melodic house as well. The year 2016 marked a very special one for him having his first release on Zoned Recordings at the beginning as well as signing on Suspekt Records.
