- LUUD, Portuguese DJ and producer, is a minimal techno artist based in London, UK.Ludgero’s journey of music began at the age of 13 where he played percussion until he mastered it. He always knew he wanted to deliver more with sounds and music and it wasn’t until he moved to London at the age of 17 and landed at an underground techno rave. His passion started as soon as he learnt the power and potential of mixing vinyls. Since then, Ludgero landed his first gig in 2001 and has since then played at London’s top clubs including Ministry of Sound, EGG London & more. Apart from the club scene, Ludgero Costa is no stranger when it comes to London’s finest underground music scene. After playing for almost 15 years, Ludgero has adapted the astute ability to create intimacy within crowds thanks to his unique sounds and grooves. Through his label, Pleasureroom records, Ludgero Costa organises intimate events that combine the forward thinking techno sound with an indisputable pleasing ambiance, making it London’s strongest growing underground parties. As a producer, Ludgero has been pushing the boundaries in electronic music and he will soon be ready to share his art with the world. He has found his sounds through his eccentric life experiences and through his music influencers such as Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Björk, Morcheeba, Laurent Garnier, Ricardo Villalobos, Plastikman and many more. Ludgero has proved that sky is the limit when it comes to dreams and ambitions. Despite his rollercoaster of a journey, Ludgero has never failed to show dedication and commitment to his love for music. He is now ready to step into a new chapter in his career, where he will be releasing his long awaited music tracks that highlight the true person he is.
