- Magnets is the musical project of Alex Mac a producer and DJ based in London.Magnets is the musical project of Alex Mac, a producer & DJ based in London. Magnets is electronic dance music, hypnotic, deep, layered & atmospheric. It’s born of an obsession with analogue synthesis and hypnotic rhythms. It is groove based machine music. It draws influence from the days when all you needed was a drum machine, a synth and an idea. Magnets debut release will be out on Kill Em All records in April 2011.
