- Simple and direct in approach and with a big love for 70s and 80s era of funk, soul & jazz, Manjane has a natural affinity with warm, analogue and dusty sounds inspired by the underground sounds of Chicago & Detroit. Warm synthesizers, soul samples an..One of the greater accomplishments was his performance at Exit Festival’s Dance Arena in 2013. He also performed in various clubs in Europe, such as Decadance in Belgium or Pekelnej in Czech Republic. In 2014, his main focus is setting up his own platform & label called Private Tapes, which is getting its first release during the summer. Manjane’s sets thread a diverse path, weaving in influences across the house, techno, hip hop. Downtempo, or uptempo, you name it.
