Biografía

  • Originally from Birmingham but now residing in the South West capital, Bristol. Resident for Secret Sanchez, The Zoo, Freejive and Switch. Style is eclectic taking in chuggy deep house and techno, disco and anything that fits.
Music has always been a major part of my life, and my passion for DJing started when I was a kid. My parents often took me to gigs, introducing me to a really diverse range of new music, and encouraging me to play a variety of instruments – sometimes with disastrous results. But when at 17 I bought my first set of decks, I took to them instantly, and have never looked back. Moving to Bristol from Birmingham for university, I rapidly realized I was learning more out of the classroom than in it – namely by attending the host of brilliant nights and clubs that Bristol has to offer (rather than my lectures) – and completely immersed myself in this thriving scene. I started DJing in Bristol with residencies for Secret Sanchez and The Zoo. Four years later, I’m resident at two other nights in the city - Freejive and Switch – and have been fortunate enough to play alongside the likes of Damian Lazarus, Jesse Rose, Deetron,Sebo K, Riton, Will Saul, Claude Von Stroke, H.O.S.H, Anthony Collins, Mike Monday, Greg Wilson, Burnski, Rob Mello, Luke Solomon and Kenny Hawkes. I also occasionally play for my good friends at Just Jack, Groove On and Fruity Antics. My style is eclectic, taking in everything from chuggy deep house and techno to disco. I believe it’s important as a DJ to listen to a really diverse range of music, keeping it fresh and original. More than anything my sound is defined by this willingness to experiment, playing music that keeps the floor dancing and the crowd interested, whatever the genre. Big shout to everyone I know or have met, let the party continue!
