- A 39 year old guy from Perugia (Italy) buys his first vinyl at the age of 12 and from the moment he buys a mixer and two turntables, the decision is easily made...A 39 year old guy from Perugia (Italy) buys his first vinyl at the age of 12 and from the moment he buys a mixer and two turntables, the decision is easily made. He makes his debut in 1995 in Etoile 54, a famous nightclub in Perugia, where he opens the evenings with his soul and downbeat selections. The following three seasons, he makes his way to the Chill out room of Red Zone in Perugia and appears at the mixer of the main room as well. In 1998 he starts his adventure with the project ‘Back to Funk’, an organization which gives him the possibility to work in all of the most well known discotheques of Umbria and not only that. He becomes a set dj on the Thursday evening ‘Bamboo’ of Cantiere 21 in Perugia (2004-2006), where he has the possibility to relate with renowned djs and live performers from all over the world (Frankie Knuckles, Na’eem Johnson, Kerri Chandler, Barbara Tucker, Michael Watford, Michelle Weeks, Arnold Jarvis, Robert Owens, Byron Stingily, just to name a few of them). In 2007 he comes into contact with Dancity, a cultural association of Umbria which organizes dance events of high musical sophistication. Currently, besides being a dj in the evenings of Dancity, he actively collaborates with the organization and promotion of all the activities of the association, including the ‘Dancity Festival’, which takes place in the summer and in the previous editions boasted the presence of famous Von Oswald, Alva Noto, Blixa Bargeld, Mouse on Mars, Swayzak, Telefon Tel Aviv, Schneider Tm, Apparat, Redshape, Francesco Tristano, Efdemin, Chateau Flight, Move D, Mathias Aguayo and many more. He participates in the sixth and seventh edition of the ‘Homework Festival’ at Bologna (2008-2009), playing at Kindergarten and at Cassero. In the season of 2008/2009 he is involved in the project ‘Bellaciao’ and becomes one of the djs of the console of the twice-weekly parties organized by dj Ralf at the Urban club in Perugia. Actually he's resident dj at Red Zone Club (Perugia) and he's a 1/3 of F.D.X. a new studio production team. The maniac of sound quality continues until today to prefer using the vinyl on his dj set. In his selections, ranging from down beat more refined to the more modern shades of techno, you can appreciate the ‘black’ vein which characterizes his musical background. His ongoing research and the possibility to express themselves in reality totally different among them, make that his sets will always be in perfect balance between experimentation and pure club music.
