- Max Sinclair is a selector, A&R and a promoter from the land of hot paprika. Co-Founder of Dalmata Daniel and BRVTAL labels.Dalmata Daniel | BRVTAL | Kreative Kontrol Max Sinclair is a selector, an A&R and a promoter from the land of hot paprika. He grew up in the punk scene, and shares this passion with the Budapest electronic music scene since ages. He is struggling for this community tirelessly in order to care, develop and connect it to the international music scene through his label, his events and collaborations with other enthusiastic figures or projects. In 2015 he co-founded Dalmata Daniel label and since then he released several vinyls and digitals with such great producers as DJ Overdose, Norwell, Roberto Auser, CT Kidobó, Maelstrom, Cardopusher, Imre Kiss and J. Mono. His imprint has gained support by world-class Djs like Helena Hauff, Intergalactic Gary, Elena Colombi and Lena Willikens. Beside this he has been running Kreative Kontrol since 2014 and has been organizing gigs, parties in his hood and has been working with international key figures like David Vunk, Identified Patient, Hysteric, Black Merlin, Dollkraut just to mention a few. Moreover he is also curating ASPIRIN, a club nights series, where he is constantly looking for talented local artists for live acts or djing. Last but not least, he is also a member of the BRVTAL crew, Budapest’s exciting industrial oriented techno project. Since 2018 they are organizing gigs and inviting such great producers and DJs like Niki Istrefi, Manni Dee, Draugr and Melania, but they also run a podcast series from the beginning and in 2020 will start a music label department too. In the past Max Sinclair was a member of Felkelők until 2019 on the legendary Hungarian underground radio Tilos and nowadays he is curating Dalmata Rádió shows on Lahmacun community radio of Budapest. As a DJ he prefers eclectic selections. Merging the lines between disco, acid and electro or broken techno in his sets. He was one of the resident DJs at LÄRM, the perfect pitch black cube that filled a void in the Budapest electronic music scene. So far he was invited to Ankali, the famous club in Prague and to Fuga, the strongest bastion in the underground scene of Bratislava and Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen. He was pleased to share the stage with such great names like Skatebård, Intergalactic Gary, Alessandro Adriani, Job Sifre, Pasiphae and Dollkraut. During the COVID-19 epidemic he could be a part of the legendary Den Haag based Intergalactic FM Streaming Festival’s line ups in 2020 and last year.
