- Men in Trees aka Jürgen Tharau and Alex Valera are the driving force behind the evolving Aachen based record label, Audio Parish.Men in Trees aka Jürgen Tharau and Alex Valera are the driving force behind the evolving Aachen based record label, Audio Parish. They first met in Cologne in 2002 where they soon realised the connection which became deeper over the years by following their mutual love of music and finally lead to 'Men in Trees'. Having followed the same parties, playing at the same events and talking continually about their love of music for many years, Jürgen founded the record label Audio Parish in 2006. The first release was very successful and was licensed by Fumiya Tanaka for his official Mix CD - "Shift To The Other Time". In 2007 they started "Men in Trees" ... a project with many musical and cultural influences from all over the world and no limitations! Although the label is not based around a specific sound but its mainly focused on house, rhythm and groove. As successful DJs they became known for their enthusiastic mix of deep, rolling abd swinging tech-house grooves with many little surprises! In 2008 Supernature was knocking on their door and asked for a remix of Burka by Pedramovich. The remix was a great success with a positive reactions from top DJs around the world. Releases on their own label "Audio Parish" und "Einmaleins-Musik" followed. After some releases Men in Trees got support from Djs like Ricardo Villalobos, Laurent Garnier, Audiofly, Alex Celler , Johnny D, Jimpster and many more. Mandy supported Men in Trees in the UK Mixmag magazine. With a recent release on Einmaleins Musik and their upcoming 'Return to Mango City' on Audio Parish, 2010 promises to be a good and creative year for the creative duo.
