Biografía
- Mensik, currently in Mexico City. Playing live beside his modular synthesizers and his voice. With only 24 years old, Mensik has played among lots of artists and events in México City.Matej Mensik is a Mexican sound maker born in 1999. Since early age he has embarked in multiple divergent paths that span music for film, multiple improvisational projects and audiovisual projects. Recently Mensik was picked by Vaivén Festival to play, at 2019 he played an improvised set among his band GGNB in the closing party of the first edition of Sónar Festival at Mexico. In the summer of 2018 Mensik scored ETÉREA, Mexican short film by Primer Plano (Screened at Mexico City theaters). In 2020 Mensik was invited to play at Burning Man Online Edition. Currently, Mensik is working on his first EP called "El Verdadero Caos No Hace Ruido", exploring more with experimental techniques of synthesis and recording, also he's scoring one song for a Mexican film called "Pictures Of You" that will be screened in 2021 at Mexican Theaters. Actually Mensik hosts a Radio Show called Radio Encontrado broadcasting once every month at Radio Alhara, Palestinian Radio Station. Current member of the band GOODGOODNOTBAND and co founder of DUAT.
