- queer af dj/producer based in the yay areaMerlin the Girl aka Erin Royal is a DJ, producer, singer and remixer living in San Francisco, CA. She founded an all-female DJ collective in 2017 called Booty Patrol, where they hold down a monthly residency at F8, the home of Houspitality Wednesdays. She has played in clubs and parties all throughout California since she started DJ’ing in 2015, enjoying most the renegade style parties thrown together by folks and friends who are passionate about music and are committed to creating a safe and inclusive vibe. She has been lucky to play alongside her longtime friends and producers/DJs, Luttrell (Anjunadeep/The M Machine) and Swardy (The M Machine) many times, who challenge her creative abilities and musical growth through collaboration. This spring, she played Santa Cruz Music Festival for the second year alongside names like, Mr. Carmack, Mija and Ghostface Killa. She also played Les Femmes s’en Mêlent, an all female festival in Paris, France in March with some of the best up and coming female talents in all genres like Dream Wife, Blimes, Reverie, Sama, Mélissa Laveaux, Mahalia & Juniore.
