- Michi NYC was born in Italy in 1980 and started playing records at the age of 12, using oldschool equipment from the 70s. He still has two Thorens TD126 turntables and his passion for a certain kind of audio equipment is really deep. He started with da..Michi NYC was born in Italy in 1980 and started playing records at the age of 12, using oldschool equipment from the 70s. He still has two Thorens TD126 turntables and his passion for a certain kind of audio equipment is really deep. He started with dance music and, after a couple of years, dj-ing, house music became his favourite genre, together with classic disco, funk and soul. He still loves playing all these kinds of music, mixing them with some fresh new stuff. In 2006 he moved to New York, discovering the most important house scene of the world and also playing in some clubs or private parties. Back to Italy in 2008, he has been Resident Dj of The House Reunion, a party in Venice where a lot of artist from the US (Barbara Tucker, Kerry Chandler, Frankie Feliciano and many more…) came playing house music. Actually he is Resident Dj at Nice To Meet You (Merville, Jesolo) and NO TIME FOR BULLSHIT at New Age Club (Venice). Now based in London UK.
