- Mika Kitten is a Female DJ/Producer from Kobe, Japan.Mika Kitten is a Female DJ/Producer originally from Kobe, Japan. Mika regularly travels around the world producing and performing. She began her DJ career spinning trance, but now focuses on techno with a style that is sometimes melodious, sometimes groovy, and features a hypnotic layer permeating her sets. In the early 2010s, Mika began building her career by rocking the hottest clubs in Osaka, Japan with her parties featuring top international talent and stunning production values. Her successes earned Mika invitations to headline at Sweden/Finland's infamous Monday Bar Cruise and at the Anime Expo in Los Angeles. Building further on her success, Mika teamed up with Koichi Sato in 2015 to begin producing their own tracks with Mika creating the sequences, chords and hypnotic melodies. Not long after, record labels from around the world including Italy, Spain, Russia, Germany, Dubai, and the US began releasing her tracks and remixes. 2016 saw Mika collaborate with underground techno team Rebellion Amsterdam in the heart of dance music culture, Holland. The result was an EP released on Japan's domestic label, Sugar Recordings. In addition, Mika and Koichi's track was chosen as the winner of a Ken Ishii remix contest sponsored by Barcelona imprint Different Is Different Records. Mika moved to Dubai in 2017 and soon after The YellowHeads released her Xuclar EP on Reload Records. It climbed to 62 on the Beatport Techno Top 100. Her production success reached new heights in 2018 when she achieved her first 1 million streams on SoundCloud with her track Sunset Drive, which was released by California's Digital Records. Later in the year, Mika began making her mark on the Dubai club scene with appearances on the first-ever line up for techno party Twenty Twenty, an even sponsored by Japanese interests in Dubai. Mika's Dubai performances include major venues like Soho Garden, the beach club Playa Nomade, and even a cruising party departing from Dubai Marina aboard the luxurious Desert Rose1. Showing no signs of slowing down in 2019, Mika is working with Dubai techno imprint Evolvement Recordings on their compilation ANALOGUE Volume 1 and will be joining the release party and subsequent tours. In addition, her Noor / Pachira EP release on Berlin's YOMO Records continues to climb the Beatport charts, reaching 29 in Melodic House & Techno and 44 in Techno Top 100. With non-stop offers coming in from around the world.
