  • Mike Holmes, DJ & one half of UK Techno Duo Dead Agenda.
    Mike Holmes has been djing for best part of 12 years in and around the North West of England. He was resident dj for 'Soundslike' in his home city, Chester, UK. Soundslike introduced the city of Chester to techno for the very first time and brought the likes of Neil Landstrumm, Surgeon, Regis, Mark Broom, Mike Humphries, Sir Real and Ignition Technition along for the party. From here mike went onto his next residency which was with Alcatraz @ Liverpools legendary Cavern Club and has played alongside some of europes finest techno artists such as Ben Sims, Steve Rachmad, British Murder Boys, Christian Wunsch, Deetron, James Ruskin, Jerome Hill, Lusinda and Female. More recently, Mike has been a regular guest on Canada's Bleep Radio and has also appeared on America's Vault Radio Show, Nonom Radio and Recorded Delivery radio. 2010 saw Mike joining up with Dan Hultum to start Dead Agenda. Their debut track Chaos Theory was snapped up by Tokyo/Melbourne based Label IF? Records and was released on July 31st 2010 with remixes by Little Nobody, Cut Bit Motorz, Enclave, Markowski vs BF, Dejected & 2 remixes from Techno legend Paul Birken! 2011 sees Mike Holmes'debut solo track, The Demise released on if? and will feature remixes by JE:5, Little Nobody and Enclave. March 2011 will see Dead Agenda's 2nd release on if? with their track Odyssey which will feature remixes by Sebastian Bayne & Alkan aswell as a bonus track which is Dead Agenda's remix of Dan Hultum's track Batofar. Another Dead Agenda remix is penned for April 2011 so watch this space for updates
