- The musical journey of Mikel Vert begins a little later, at the age 19 while listening to some house cd's he remains significantly affected. These cd's were mixed by some of the best dj's on the world stage, such as Frankie Knuckles, Carl Craig and Tod..The musical journey of Mikel Vert begins a little later, at the age 19 while listening to some house cd's he remains significantly affected. These cd's were mixed by some of the best dj's on the world stage, such as Frankie Knuckles, Carl Craig and Todd Terry. He began to mix only for passion in his bedroom with a dj software. In 2007 he started performing for the first time with real dj decks in some small clubs from his city with the pseudonym "Mikel", where more and more people began to know his name. Mikel started his DJ career with a wide range of influences (comercial, hip hop, soul, disco, progresive & tech-house) but now his sound edges towards deep and nu-disco atmospheres, with tech and percussive roots. All of these sounds can be heard through the music he mixes; the sound proposals by Mikel Vert in his dj sets are a mixture that passes from nudisco/deep house to tech, obtaining approval from the audience for his sophisticated sound.
