    British born and based artist Miles Sagnia has gained much respect as a DJ / producer over the last decade. With recent releases on Keith Worthys ‘Aesthetic Audio’ and Kirk Degiorgios ‘Applied Rhythmic Technology' as well as heading up his own ‘Atmospheric Existence Recordings’ his output is far reaching and making it into the bags of many. He landed up working behind the counter at Rhythm Syndicate Records in Cambridge UK for several years at the end of the 90's, hand picking records for many leading international household name DJs after a change in career left an opportunity to indulge in his passion. In 2000, Miles won the UK Dance music magazine ‘Mixmag’ Dj Competition, and in the years following exhibited such highlights as a residency @ The Boutique, in London (Turnmills) / Brighton (Concorde2), along with guest spots all over the UK and internationally, including Ibiza, China, and Brussels, under the guise of ‘Living City’. This was a DJ / Production moniker for Miles and close friend Toby Slade-Baker. The pair played at many parties together over the years and were prolific on the underground club circuit in the UK. They were taken on by UK Techno pioneer and former Kiss 100FM DJ Colin Dale and joined his ‘Wildlife’ DJ agency, alongside Pure Science, Trevor Rockliffe, Dave Mothersole and others. Living City the name for their duo had several tracks that became big numbers for many Djs, forwarding on edits and tracks to Djs they enjoyed. One piece of work was also licensed to Eddie Richards ‘Fabric 16′ club mix CD in 2004. The duo went on to record a remix for UK ambient electronic pop outfit ‘The Orb’ with the hit ‘Vuja De’ in 2008. After the duo followed different paths, Miles knuckled down to conjure up more output, becoming more focused on solo material, passing on work to Keith Worthy’s Aesthetic Audio Imprint in Detroit. The first EP passed over called ‘The Sounds From The Abyss’ recieved critical acclaim and made the top of the charts of many including Kirk Degiorgio, Kai ‘KZR’ Alce, Deetron, Patrice Scott, Jus 'Ed, Mike Huckaby, I-D magazine, amongst others. With a resident advisor review of 4.5/5, DJ magazine 5 ***** After 14 years as a committed DJ working the underground House & Techno scene in the UK, Miles kicked off his own imprint in 2009 “Atmospheric Existence Recordings” as a vision for his own solo productions and carefully selected guest artists. ‘Introspective Soul EP’ (AER001) won many followers and gained heavy rotation once again. AER002 – The Causal Structure 12” ep devastated dancefloors and was charted by the likes of Kirk Degiorgio, Patrice Scott, Keith Worthy, jim masters, juju&jordash, arne weinberg, xdb, jus ‘ed amongst others. Miles took his imprint A.E.R. onto the airwaves of London’s award winning ‘HOUSE FM’ radio station in early 2009 pushing sounds for the more discerning listener. After a season of shows, Miles returned to focus on productions. Next up was a release penned for London Deep House imprint ‘Ornate Music’, a long awaited meeting with a label miles had promised music to years ago. the end results was ‘The Astrobiological Funk EP’, a three tracker consisting of the cuts, ‘interplanetary visitors’, ‘bounce theory’ and ‘twilight’, charted by: Felix Dickinson, Aybee, Steven Tang, Dan Curtin, Dubbyman, Kirk Degiorgio, Solab, Patrice Scott, Jenifa Mayanja, Jus-Ed, brothers Vibe, Johannes Volk, Steven Tang, Jay Tripwire, Nick Dunton, Vakula, Gerd, Malcolm Moore, Rio Padice, amongst others, also featuring on the Juno recommends techno list. The release sold out and continues to pick up support from all corners. Following that release, next up (14.2.11) was miles work for seminal uk techno imprint applied rhythmic technology (A.R.T.). After meeting Kirk Degiorgio, an invitation was given to record for the label. With a close working ethic, the end result was the 'Transmission EP', a 4 tracker, featuring a range of Miles' tougher dancefloor sounds along with abstract downtempo electronica. This picked up strong support by Dave Clarke on his white noise radio show, as well as Peter Van Hoesen, DJ S2 – Santiago Salazar (UR), Fred P and Duplex. To be invited to record and put out the record on 12” on this legendary UK imprint has been a great joy for Miles, being a label which he cites as an early influence for him. Along with this release, Miles’ next concieved audio assault took place in the form of the next installment, “refined textures vol.1”. featuring for the first time on the imprint guest artists, friends 1dan & Bittersuite, alongside Miles. This was released 22.11.2011 after a great promo response The tracks were once again given serious rotation by some aforementioned artists along with many more supporting the sound. Remix duty followed with a remix for Myles Serge Clark's RE(FORM) recordings, a track by Kazuya Kawakami. The remix was charted by Mike Denhert amongst others. Another remix followed for Belgium Label NOWAR, remixing Leonid's 'Feel' track. This was supported once again by Dave Clarke on his whitenoise radio show and given serious rotation worlwide. Most recently Miles release a split EP on his label with Deepblak founder and co-owner of Future Vision recordings with Ron Trent, the ever effervescent AYBEE. This project was entitled 'The Eternal Radiance EP' and was recommended by Clone and Juno and charted by former supporters mentioned above along with fresh followers of the label. Capping off last year with performances at GLADE festival (UK) and the much lauded FREEROTATION festival (UK), along with some stand out gigs including Manchester's 'Bohemian Grove' and a whole host of others, Miles is now currently working on his album. To be released this summer 2012. Miles was recently tagged as ‘One To Watch’ by online magazine Juno Plus, and he continues on his quest to deliver music with thought, depth and integrity, making dancefloors move to his solid selection of heartfelt emotive grooves, mechanised funk and deep selections. Fast forward and Miles has been a key artist on John Digweed's Bedrock Records, with several releases under his belt, with the last track featured being remixed by Josh Wink.
