Most of Teesside babies from 88 onwards will have at some point been on the dance music train and some will have been within the involvement of steering it towards its destinations. One such local DJ that has always been there from the mid 90’s and still to this day continues to do so is Milhouse. Playing at parties and promoting them has allowed Mil to be educated in electronic music since an early age and he is well respected for being one of the first people to bring artists such as Nic Fanciulli, Jordan Peak, Martin Dawson, Dan Ghenacia, Jef k and many more to the area as well as the guy whom set up the first ever initial riffraff party and was the first ever riffraff DJ to take to the decks after a chance meeting came about an old school friend with Lee Pennington. Parting ways with riffraff after he helped get it going in its very early stages so that he could follow his own musical path brought Mil on a journey where he would become resident DJ and promoter of “Right On” another monthly dance music party and play alongside some exceptional guests and also found himself on the road to play at super club Sankey’s and help run capture FM radio show. Eight years later and Mil’s road has brought him full circle where him and Lee Pennington once again are reunited and he is a valued and respected member of the riffraff squad. Mils musical style ranges from hip hop right through to house and techno and this is what you hear and witness in his eclectic sets either if he is warming up or playing headline slots he always delivers the goods. Not content with just playing other peoples records Mil is now in the studio 24/7 producing his own edits and tracks that he fits into his sets to make them even more unique with some that will be ready for release in the coming year.̸Wally Black - Git Up (milhouse Remix) Midnight Social Recordings
