The artist who brings under one roof the DJ gig and the concert performance.
Taking the DJ booth to the next level with his \Live Electronics\, expect a full-blown hardware setup where Mischa Blanos, the performer, manipulates the machines as if they were acoustic instruments. It brings jazz-driven techno pieces into a flow of rich basslines and melodies with elusive yet deeply rooted classical structures.
Trained in classical piano from the age of seven with a long list of classical music awards, he is one of those artists who are tirelessly working to escape the tedium of composing around a single genre. It's kind of odd to find an artist in a concert venue, where you sit quietly and enjoy the virtuosity of a neoclassical pianist, and then to find the same artist in a club making you move and dance to techno. He moves constantly around genres and projects, to satisfy his need of innovation from his Piano&Electronics project, the need of adrenaline from Techno and self-connection from Ambient/IDM.
Mischa Blanos was also a pivotal member of Amorf, a renowned presence in the global minimal-techno scene. Amorf was revered for their relentless live jams and exclusive vinyl-only releases, solidifying their reputation until their dissolution in 2020.
