- To create contrasts.The idea to describe emotions through music brought Alessandro to buy an electric guitar when he was 15. It all began with experiments, cheap devices and a spare collection of discs. A further approach with post rock bands drove him to extend his listening horizon to electronic music, which lately became a continuous discovery and the way to express himself. Under the nickname “Modal”, he’s proposing a personal interpretation of two different worlds like house and techno, with sets and productions where haunting melodies and atmospheric progressions play a fundamental role. To create contrasts. Modal has released tracks on Three Hands Records, DNC Limited, Natura Viva and other considerable labels, receiving support from several artists of the international house and techno scene.
