It took 2 years of hard work to get his first set of decks,..Monokode real name Cj Gulli has always loved music, particularly electronic music. After escaping a school trip aged 12 Monokode headed straight for the club scene, here he found his passion. It took 2 years of hard work to get his first set of decks, during this time he would walk a 2 hour round trip after school to Renato Pazella a close friends and master on the decks who taught him diligently the art of mixing. Within a year Monokode had residency every Sunday afternoon at le Dune where he played with djs like Mike Grant, Damon Wild, Bandulu and Robert Armani and Marco Carola, From this meteoric start Monokode expended to Djing across Europe, before travelling to London in 2001. Amazed by the vibrance of the underground scene thriving in this huge city, Monokode began to see great opportunities. It wasn't long before he began 'the' project…….. CODEKONTROL.
