- Slanky, left-leaning electronic funk fusion creator residing in metro Los AngelesOriginally from the southern United States and now based in Los Angeles, Moon B is an underground artist that has provided his own recorded take of lofi left-leaning modern funk, proto-house, and "ketamine boogie" since 2012. Established labels that have released his work include People's Potential Unlimited (PPU), 1080p, Nous, Voltaire, Omega Supreme and more. Instead of bleepy bloopying his way through gigs and onto the turntables of the world, Moon structures hair-raising hand played chords meshed with the thickest of bass lines in nearly all of his songs, keeping the listener/dancer fully immersed in the haze. These compositions have made it onto commercially mixed compilations (DJ Kicks) from Actress in 2015 as well as many a DJ mix from the likes of BBC Radio 6's Groove Armada, Australia's Andras Fox, and Los Angeles' own modern funk ambassador and Stones Throw Records mainstay himself, Dām Funk.
