- Analog Rave MusicLondon duo Mounter & Mifi’s first two EPs have already managed to stand out from the crowd in 2014. They were snapped up by esteemed labels Save You and Hypercolour off shoot Losing Suki and fused heavyweight bass to searing techno with aplomb. The results found favour with DJs like Hrdvision, Eats Everything and Justin Martin and immediately established the pair as ones to watch. With a background heavily steeped in engineering, production and live sound, their studio techniques focus heavily on raw analogue sounds and out of the box production: as such, they employ a vast array of hardware to craft their unique take on techno. Both music professionals, one half of Mounter & Mifi is a sound and lighting technician, the other a music teacher and engineer, and together they draw on their extensive background knowledge to sculpt new and exciting sounds. With more releases line-up in the coming months, Mounter & Mifi are only just getting started.
