Like many, Mouse grew up in London in the early nineties worshipping pirate radio. His intake of happy hardcore, jungle and garage, from stations such as Don, Dream and Kool Fm inspired him to trips to East London and up the motorway to The Sanctuary (Milton Keynes) to see his heroes and misbehave. Wandering up north at the end of his teens. Mouse found himself in Nottingham, where his increasing passion for D&B was well satisfied. As a Bedroom DJ, Mouse juggled between Reinforced, Moving Shadow, and early Ram stuff, and as his experience grew and his taste for the breakbeat matured he began to steer towards the more mature and deeper sound of the genre. Currently he cites Critical, Horizon, Soul:R, Spearhead and the mighty Metalheadz as his labels of choice. In 2005 Mouse helped to set up the CULT brand of events in Nottingham, And over the years has overseen CULT host events at a variety of venues across the city of Nottingham. Guest artists that have featured at Cult events include Kubiks & Lomax, Nookie, Utah Jazz, Zero Tolerance, Beardyman, JFB, Furney, Andre Bonsor (Schmoov), XS.iF and many more. Spinning tunes in Nottingham, has seen Mouse play at a number of its top venues including the main rooms at both Stealth and The Bomb, as well as Blueprint, Igloo, Moog, The Maze, Muse and many more to list. Mouse is also a member of the notorious Doodle Crew (see http://www.myspace.com/doodlecrew.co.uk/) More Recently Mouse has been embracing the digital age, working on mixing and sampling with mp3's using audio manipulation software. Predominantly a Drum & Bass DJ, Mouse always loves to take things back to his roots with a cheeky bit of Jungle/Old School chucked in for those who know.
