Mykee’s ‘journey’ began with MC-ing to Jungle back in the early 90’s before progressing to Garage, which is still one of his great passions. Mykee Phunkee's productions have steadily begun to receive acclaim from ravers, DJ’s and producers alike with his tracks featuring at ‘BackTo95’ and ‘Kings Of House - Ibiza’, as well as receiving regular radio play on HouseFM.net, S-Dance Live, London Live and Confetti Digital. 2014 was a busy year for Mykee with DJ performances at Ministry of Sound, Egg, Pacha, Croydon Bass Lift, Audio Army, Molecular Sounds, Love It Deep @ Ministry of Sound, and Deep Blue @ Aquarium. Phunkee also appeared on every BackTo95 line-up of the year and his debut release 'Because Of You' was released on Fracture Recordings in August. As if that wasn’t enough to keep him busy, Mykee and his partner Bex also founded and launched B Phunkee Music in August and their independent record label has received a great responses on the clubbing scene, and from Producers/DJs both locally and overseas. 2015 saw Mykee continue to amass releases on a number of underground house labels including Pathogen Productions and newly formed Stanky Face Music as well as Spanish imprint ExperimentalTech Records and U.S outfit VOD Recordings. A personal highlight was a live DJ appearance at 2015's Notting Hill Carnival and this was accompanied by numerous sets at some of London's most well-known night spots.
