- NDK (No Fun Intended)Andy Kershaw’s contributions to dance culture and community over the years are numerous. Sometimes label manager, sometimes promoter, always a DJ, he has been on a larger radar as of late. He is a co-founder of two notable San Francisco record labels, 3AM Devices and As You Like It Recordings. His journey has taken him from the 90s rave scene of New England, through a decade in the San Francisco of the 10s, and now to Vermont. Next on his agenda is forthcoming solo label project “No Fun Intended” as well as long-overdue original productions and remixes. No Fun Intended intends to release “unapologetic dance music” with a focus on talent from the international region of Vermont and Quebéc, which Andy has termed “the Vermontréal area.” Andy believes that reinvention and maintaining positive relationships, rather than resting on one’s past work, is the key to career longevity in the underground dance music realm. Nonetheless, many New Englanders will remember him as late 90s party-circuit staple “Andy Kaotik” of Boston’s Audio Dream Control and the force behind the Wicked Sky open air renegades.
