- Belfast based DJ & Promoter of Scope, Beat BBQ & DSNT. I also present the Computer Controlled Radio Show on Future Music.It all started when my friends introduced me to David Holme’s infamous ‘Shake Ya Brain’ club night in Belfast about 20 years ago. That night, along with ‘Choice’ opened up a whole new world of music that I’d never heard before and instantly fell in love with and inspired me to get into djing. Initially inspired by Detroit techno and Chicago house I have progressively widened my horizons and got into the more glitchy, leftfield side of electronic music also, taking in electro, acid and idm. Through my obsessive love of vinyl and djing i have been continuously posting up mixes of all different types of genres of the electronic music spectrum on the internet which have gained me some attention world wide, which has led my mixes being broadcast on various radio stations, posted on blogs and various websites. My first gig was at the legendary Evolution night in Vico's and have since played all the major clubs around Northern Ireland and supported many top producers and DJ’s of a diverse range, from the likes of Surgeon, Mala, Oneman, Regis, Altern 8, Hudson Mowhawke, James Ruskin, Supa Dj Dimitree from Dee-Lite, 808 State, DMX Krew, Xhin, Kink, Regis, Jackmaster, Radioactive Man, Scion, DJ Pinch, DJ Deep to name a few. I have in the past promoted nights in Belfast and Leeds which included a residency at ‘Darkside’ and co-run ‘Grub’ with Boxcutter. I was one fourth of Pressure and was resident DJ for Space Dimension Controller’s night Basic Rhythm, played regularly for the Acroplane label/club night. I am currently co-running Scope, DSNT and Beat BBQ club nights and have an Internet radio show on Future Music called the Computer Controlled Radio Show
