Biografía

  • Nick Craddock is a well-respected DJ with some 20 years’ experience. He’s mixed his way through various scenes and styles, becoming known for his wide and distinctive selection that takes in elements of tough techno, deep house and early 90s electronica.
For 16 years Nick lived in London, where he held several residencies and guested at the capital’s key clubs. In 2003 he connected with Lakuti and Portable’s well-loved Süd Electronic parties and became a resident alongside Lakuti and Marco Shuttle – remaining a regular fixture at their parties until the demise of Süd in November 2011. In more recent years he received public praise and wider recognition. FACT Magazine named him one of ‘100 underrated DJs who deserve more shine’ in 2014, and he’s been namechecked by the likes of Ben UFO and Tama Sumo as a DJ they rate. He's played back-to-back with each of them on several occasions. Nick has DJed on Boiler Room (invited to open for Karenn), Rinse FM (guesting on the Hessle Audio, Numbers and All Caps shows), Tokyo’s Dommune, and appeared regularly on NTS. He’s held monthly shows on KMAH, Radar and currently on Lisbon’s Rádio Quântica. He also ran his own club night, Gateway To Zen, in London between 2014-2016. He’s recorded mixes for Blowing up the Workshop, FACT, Smoke Machine, Electronic Explorations, Fabric, Sonotown and many others. Three of his mixes have been picked up by Resident Advisor for their ‘Mix of the Day’ slot. He also compiled and mixed a cassette release for the Paris-based Collapsing Market crew in 2015. Nick relocated to Lisbon in late 2016 and integrated into the thriving local club scene. He plays regularly at the city’s best clubs, and maintains a busy schedule as a guest DJ.
